YOUTH SUPPORT COORDINATORS

aRE YOU A YOUNG PERSON LOOKING FOR SUPPORT AT SCHOOL...

Do you have stuff  going on for you that's affecting you at school?

Do you need support to stay at school?

Do you need someone to talk to in a confidential manner about your personal issues?

If so, a Youth Support Coordinator (YSC) may be able to help!

A YSC is a person who is employed by a community service who comes into your school/TAFE or is linked to your school/TAFE. YSCs are focussed on supporting young people in education or training who may be experiencing personal, social, emotional or family issues; working alongside of them so that they successfully complete school/training. Young people's involvement with YSC services is voluntary, so you get to choose!

It is easy to access a YSC - you can approach them directly, through a teacher at your school or via phone or email.

There are YSC's located throughout the State - please check out the contact list which also includes the schools that the YSC's go to.
