Networking Event and CEO & Leaders’ Lunch, 20 and 21 June 2023

The Housing and Homelessness Peaks’ Partnership (HHPP) of which Queensland Youth Housing Coalition (QYHC) is a member are co-hosting a couple of key events. Firstly a networking opportunity at Hotel Grand Chancellor on June 20th followed by the CEO and Leaders Forum on June 21st. As members of QYHC you can attend these events for member rates. Networking event
An opportunity to engage with state-wide regional representatives along with people working across diverse sectors to ensure every Queenslander has a home.

Co-hosted with the Queensland Housing and Homelessness Peaks’ Partnership, it is a chance to connect, share information and hear about progress from your peers and colleagues. Q Shelter will be taking the opportunity to launch some new bodies of work in partnership with other peak and industry associations.

CEO and Leaders’ Lunch
We warmly invite you to attend the next Queensland Housing and Homelessness Peaks’ Partnership CEO and Leaders’ Lunch.

Speakers from varied State Agencies will provide an update on progress of actions emerging from the Queensland Housing Summit and post the Queensland State Budget. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and understand more about the scope of work that is underway and on the horizon.

The Honourable Cameron Dick MP, Queensland Treasurer and Minister for Trade and Investment, will join QCOSS CEO Aimee McVeigh for a special In Conversation event to discuss the 2023 State Budget.

Our Budget Breakfast is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a sector to find out how the budget will impact your organisation, the social service sector and your community.

Join us in a 12 month project

Do you want to use your skills to make a real difference? This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to real-world outcomes that will support the Community Housing and Specialist Homelessness Services Sector in Queensland. Work Force Connect is a collaboration between Homelessness Queensland, Queensland Youth Housing Coalition and Queensland Shelter. At a time when our sector is challenged by recruiting, retaining and upskilling staff, Work Force Connect is collaborating to improve long-term attraction and retention of the workforce within Queensland’s Housing and Homelessness Sector.

Three positions are available including the Program Leader and two Sector Engagement Specialists.
