Young people and those who work with or support children, young people, families and communities who are committed to understanding why violence and abuse occurs.

 

Why should you attend?

The recent Not Now Not Ever Report in Queensland noted that Domestic and Family Violence is at epidemic proportions.  Its impact on children and young people has been highlighted.

Not only are children and young people witness to violence in their homes, they are often direct victims. They may also experience violence in their intimate relationships. This leads to many levels of disadvantage, most commonly homelessness.
